unc0ver now be working on ensuring the stability of the implementation while I wait for the kernel exploit to update the rest of the jailbreak iOS 13.3-13.3.1.

Developer Pwn20wnd is planned to integrate a new exploit discovered by Brandon Azad into the popular jailbreak utility. iOS 13.3 To 13.3.1 will get a Jailbreak, but seems that 13.3 is more stable. I upgraded from 13.1.3. Hopefully I will not regret it.

If you’ve been following along with trends in the jailbreak community recently. Then you’ve undoubtedly caught wind of hacker and security researcher Brandon Azad’s plans to release a tfp0 exploit. For proof-of-concept targeting the iPhone 11 on iOS 13.3.1.

The news, announced just yesterday, has good implications for jailbreak iOS 13.3 To iOS 13.3.1. It means that jailbreak developers could potentially be devised for devices running iOS 13.3.1. Perhaps even other handsets of the A13 variety. But who will make them?

It is unclear when Pwn20wnd will release an update for Unc0ver with support for iOS 13 and A12-A13 devices. The only official iOS 13 jailbreak at the time of this writing is checkra1n. Which only supports up to the iPhone X due to hardware exploit limitations.

Should unc0ver pick up this claimed support, it would be the first jailbreak to support Apple’s latest devices on iOS 13. If successful, this would introduce jailbreak support for the iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max.

As it turns out, unc0ver lead developer Pwn20wnd is particularly interested in Azad’s upcoming exploit.

And he took to Twitter early Wednesday morning to share that he would be working on updating the unc0ver jailbreak for iOS 13.3 To 13.3.1 following the release of the aforementioned exploit.

Last chance to downgrade to iOS 13.3.1 on A12/A13 for potential jailbreak eligibility

Pwn20wnd has confirmed on Twitter that he is working on an Unc0ver update to add iOS 13 – iOS 13.3 support to it. This will be a semi-tethered jailbreak. And his priority will be to jailbreak A12-A13 devices like the iPhone XS, iPhone 11, and iPhone Pro first.

The unc0ver jailbreak may soon support A12/A13 devices running iOS 13.3 – iOS 13.3.1. The news that hacker and iOS security researcher Brandon Azad would be releasing a tfp0 exploit POC. For the iPhone 11 on iOS 13.3 took the jailbreak community by storm.

And it didn’t take long before unc0ver lead developer Pwn20wnd response. With plans to update unc0ver when it gets release.

TL;DR, if you have an A12(X)-A13 device and want to improve your odds of jailbreak eligibility. Then you’ll want to get that device on iOS 13.3.1 as soon as humanly possible before Apple makes downgrades impossible.

Are you looking forward to jailbreaking your iPhone XS or iPhone 11 running iOS 13? Or have you given up on jailbreaking entirely? Drop a comment and let us know! Pwn20wnd also mentions that those happily jailbroken on iOS 13.3 should stay where they are. Otherwise you gamble with the off-chance that no jailbreak for iOS 13.3 To 13.3.1 it will materialize for the aforementioned devices and firmware versions.
